The North West England’s Largest Indoor Winter Wonderland is preparing to open its doors on 6th December ready to entertain and amaze with its Magical Festival Circus, huge indoor funfair and Santa’s Grotto.
You can also test out your ice skating skills on Manchester’s largest real ice rink and make time to watch the spectacular Christmas panto.
Based at EventCity, opposite the Trafford Centre, the Funland is an ideally located fun experience for the whole family, and perhaps a spot of shopping in the mall afterwards.

The chances of us having a white Christmas are pretty low once again, but if you fancy immersing yourself in a truly wintry experience head over to the The Ice Village at Manchester’s Cathedral Gardens.
Step into the Ice Cavern to experience the interactive ice sculpture, wrap up for the new -10 degrees Ice Tiki Bar, then warm up with some skating on the brand new rink.
Santa will be in his grotto while you’re entertained by live performers, ice sculpting, games and craft and market stalls.

From now until Christmas Eve you can experience real snow at Mini Moose Land and Snow Park and a magical Grotto experience.

There are several Christmas markets held throughout the UK, but has built up a fantastic reputation for its food, drink, gifts and crafts on offer.
Spread across the City Centre, there’s a downloadable trails map to help you get around.
Open until 23rd December, there is plenty of time to experience the joy of the open market with is traditional, gluhwein, German beers and 12 inch hot dogs. If something more exotic tickles your taste buds look out for cuisine from all around Europe while you take in the beautifully crafted toys and gifts on sale at more than 300 stalls.
There are also performances from live bands and choirs and even a bar in a snow globe to make the atmosphere sparkle even more!
